Since his birth on May 20th, my perception of time has shifted quite a bit, hopefully only temporarily.. This past month has just gone by so fast. Even now - trying to remember some of the key moments, all the spaces in between seem so blurred. The images below are from this past Saturday, the first weekend of Summer and coincidentally, my first Father's day. I have recently read - To improve one's sense of 'now' - to create a lasting memory, it helps to really be receptive to all your senses, to take a moment to absorb your surroundings. Feel the sun on your skin, focus on that sensation alone, then on to the next.. To embrace the details, the photographs below are an extension of this exercise.
